MCC supports the Skilled Trades BC (previous known as ITA) apprenticeship program and welcome carpentry apprentices at any stage of their training.

 

Murphy Construction sponsors employees on the tools with the Skilled Trades BC carpentry apprenticeship program – a combination of on-job training and classroom learning in order to become a ticketed Red Seal carpenter.

 

It is our goal is to create pathways for our labourers to be lead carpenters and our carpenters to have the opportunity to move into supervisor or management positions - creating a progression of skills development and opportunities for future generations.​

In November of 2017, MCC was recognized as a "Champion of Apprentices" by Skilled Trades BC for their dedication of empowering apprentices to work towards their Red Seal tickets.
